We are thrilled to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Enterprising Women Magazine, a publication that continues to be a beacon of inspiration, influence, and impact for women entrepreneurs across the globe. This commemorative summer 2025 issue (available here) honors the magazine’s extraordinary legacy while illuminating the future of women’s leadership through the stories, strategies, and successes of those who are redefining enterprise.
Harris Whitesell Consulting (HWC) is proud to be featured in this milestone edition, with an article on page 22 spotlighting our evidence-based approach to human capital optimization, change leadership, and workforce transformation. The piece showcases how HWC empowers organizations to elevate executive performance, develop thriving workplace cultures, and build future-ready leadership pipelines. Our strategic consulting, coaching, and facilitation services are designed to meet the demands of today’s fast-evolving business environment while honoring the human side of enterprise.
Beyond the article, HWC is deeply invested in nurturing the next generation of women leaders through our ongoing support of the Enterprising Women Foundation’s Young Enterprising Women’s Mentor Forum, a national Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Mentoring Program. We are honored to lead the Wilmington, North Carolina chapter of the Young Enterprising Women Mentor Program, where we connect local high school girls with accomplished women in business, offering mentorship, leadership development, and career exploration experiences that spark vision, connection, and possibility.
Our commitment to leadership excellence and service was recently recognized as our co-founders, Lori Harris and Lynn Whitesell, were each honored with the prestigious Enterprising Women of the Year Award. Their induction into the Enterprising Women Advisory Board is both a celebration of their contributions and a pledge to continue advancing the mission of empowering women worldwide through entrepreneurship, innovation, and mentorship.
As we look to the next 25 years of impact, we hold close the wisdom of trailblazing thinker Mary Parker Follett, who reminded us: “Leadership is not defined by the exercise of power but by the capacity to increase the sense of power among those led.”
At Harris Whitesell Consulting, we remain steadfast in our purpose to amplify leadership, expand potential, and ignite lasting, positive change.
